How to convert acres to square feet

Multiply the acres by 43,560:

square feet = acres × 43,560

0.75 ac × 43,560 = 32,670 sq ft. The factor is exact. Because people picture distances more easily than areas, the result also gives the side of a square with the same area: 1 acre is a square 208.71 ft on a side, half an acre 147.58 ft.
